Tianjin police destroyed a hideout where counterfeit face masks were produced and sold

On February 4th, Tianjin police successfully destroyed a hideout where counterfeit face masks were manufacturedand sold by cross-provincial tracking, seizing four suspects, over 20,000 counterfeit face masks, a batch of raw materials and two machines that produced those masks.

On February 1st, Heping Branch of Tianjin Public Security Bureau and the market regulator of Heping District found a supermarket selling fake branded face masks. A special case group was set up. The case group seized over 300 fake face masks.

According to the delivery orders, it was found that Mao purchased over 20,000 counterfeit masks for sale from a man from Hebei. Market regulator of Heping District then detained the remaining 6,000 fake masks in the underground warehouse. The case group then carried out investigation in Hebei.

On February 4th, the group, with the assistance of local public security organ, seized four suspects, closed down an assembly line, over 20.000 counterfeit face masks, a batch of raw materials and two machines.

So far, the four suspects were subjected to criminal measures in accordance with the law.
