Changsha Customs seized 114 items of IPR-infringing goods

Recently, Changsha Customs solved a case of taking the IPR infringement goods into the border, involving 114 items of alleged goods infringing upon the rights of 9 well-known trademarks (such as GUCCI, BURBERRY and DISNEY), including electronic watches, waistbands, garments and bags.

According to the customs official, Changsha Customs has carried out the “Longteng 2019” Action for IPR protection across the province since July 1, with intensive efforts being made and targeted measures being taken to further bring into play the important role of customs in the national IP work system, firmly crack down on the illegal acts of IPR infringement at import & export, create a good business environment and promote high-quality development.

Changsha Customs reminds the tourists across the border to enhance the law-abiding awareness, respect the IPRs and not take any infringement goods. Those illegal acts that violate the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Customs Protection of Intellectual Property Rights, will be handled  by the customs in accordance with the laws.
