Guangzhou Customs seized 1.03 million dry batteries alleged of IPR infringement

Guangzhou Customs seized 1.03 million dry batteries alleged of infringement upon the trademark of SUNWATT and its logograph.

As was learned on May 21, Nansha Customs affiliated to Guangzhou Customs seized a batch of goods exported to Togo in the form of general trade and discovered that these 1.03 million dry batteries infringed upon the exclusive rights of “SUNWATT and its logo”trademark, whose owner is Guangxi Wuzhou Sunwatt Battery Co., Ltd.. The company is included into the list of key IPR-leading enterprises under the protection of General Administration of Customs in its “Longteng” Action nationwide in 2017.
