42,000 books of pirated publications destroyed and 4 suspects caught in Huangshi City
On the morning of December 5, the detained 42,000 books of pirated publications were loaded in a truck and sent to a paper-making factory for destroy.
On October 30, 2014, the general law enforcement team of Huangshi cultural market got a real-time complaint from China Institute of Building Standard Design and Research, which claimed that its copyright was infringed by a chain bookstore in Huangshi through selling a large quantity of pirated publications. 645 series books about building standard design, captured by this team, were identified to be pirated publications.
It is learned that the task force has caught 4 suspects and captured 42,000 books of illegal publications. Among the caught suspects, 3 were sentenced for 3 years and 1 for 1 year.
