A Store in Zhejiang Fined 10,000 Yuan for a Bottle of Counterfeiting Wine Sold
Recently, People’s Court of Deqing County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, carried out a compulsory execution of a decision of the case involving trademark infringement on Changyu (a famous Chinese wine brand). Although the store just sold one bottle of counterfeiting Changyu wine at price of 38 Yuan, it violated the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China. Finally, the court ruled that the store should pay the plaintiff, Changyu Wine Group Co. Ltd., 10,000 Yuan as compensation. And by now the decision has been executed.
