It is required in the notice that market regulators at provincial levels should carry out selective examination over enterprises producing face masks according to the principle of territorial administration, especially in Hebei, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Shandong, Hubei and Guangdong.
It is indicated that selective examination should be carried out over non-medical disposable face masks, including the anti-dust masks under GB 2626-2006 and regular protective masks under GB/T 32610-2016.
It is also required in the notice that companies should rectify if they are found producing counterfeit and substandard face masks in the selective examination.
