The national performance examination group visited Heilongjiang for on-site examination

From January 25 to 26, the tenth examination group designated by the Office of National Leading Group on Fight against IPR Infringemet and Counterfeiting and led by Tan Jian, Director of IPR Center under China Council for the Promotion of International Trade visited Heilongjiang for on-site examination over their work against IPR infringement and counterfeiting in 2018.

Over two days of on-site inspection, the examination group generally recognized the earnest work by Heilongjiang Province on implementing the work deployment made by the State Council for the crackdown on IPR infringement and counterfeiting, enhancing organization and leadership, consolidating the relevant responsibilities, integrating the policies and strengthening the implementation with marked results achieved.

On enhancing the supervision, the big picture of agriculture is prioritized with a focus on quality; the source governance is prioritized with a focus on accession to the market; the food safety is prioritized with a focus on health; the national borders’ safety is prioritized with a focus on entry and departure; the cyber security is prioritized with a focus on Internet; the information safety is highlighted with a focus on software authentication. In particular, the efforts to crack down on criminal acts of IPR infringement and counterfeiting are increased as forceful deterrence.

Meanwhile, the group hoped that Heilongjiang can sustain their efforts in 2019 to create a good business development environment and boost the all-round rejuvenation of Heilongjiang.

It is learned that in 2018, in the provincial-level crackdown on IPR infringement and counterfeiting, the administrative law enforcement authorities in Heilongjiang handled 1,791 cases and closed 1,766 cases, involving 10.68 million yuan. 56 cases were transfered and all the punitive cases closed were disclosed to the public. No cases of serious IPR infringement in a systematic way and events of big social impacts arising therefrom across the province occured.
