Lu Zhengmin attended the 6th China Conference on Integrated Development of New Media Industry & Seminar on Innovation of China’s Liquor Industry
On December 27, 2018, Lu Zhengmin, Deputy Director of the Office of National Leading Group on Fight against IPR Infringement and Counterfeiting and Deputy Head of the Law Enforcement Inspection Bureau under the State Administration for Market Regulation attended the 6th China Conference on Integrated Development of New Media Industry & Seminar on Innovation of China’s Liquor Industry and delivered remarks.
Lu pointed out that the long-standing and profound brewing technique has become part of China’s tangible cultural heritage and represents the memory of Chinese people upon liquor brewing developed for thousands of years, thus playing an important role in cultural inheritance. The liquor industrial development should adapt to three new changes: first, to adapt to the new changes in principal contradiction facing Chinese society and guide the industrial upgrading; second, to adapt to the new changes in economic development pattern and highlight product quality; and third, to adapt to the new changes in liquor industry for stable and sound development.
Lu requested that the liquor development should shift from seeking quantity-oriented growth towards quality-oriented growth to usher in a new landscape of development in a new era. In the face of new situations and characteristics, the crackdown on counterfeits should be deepened. Working with the member units, the Office of National Leading Group on Fight against IPR Infringement and Counterfeiting will strive for a legal, international and facilitated business environment for liquor industry.
Lu called on the social communities to jointly work on resolving the problems and difficulties hampering the liquor industrial development so that a new liquor industry can be developed, the safety in the public use of liquor and be defended, and the reliable consumption environment can be created for consumers in the liquor purchase and use.
