The First Plenary Session of the Inter-Ministerial Joint Meeting for Network Market Supervision takes place

On May 9, the First Plenary Session of the Inter-Ministerial Joint Meeting for Network Market Supervision was convened at the State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC) and attended by 10 member units like the SAIC, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Customs, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, China Food and Drug Administration, the Office of the General Leading Group for Cyberspace Affairs, and the State Post Bureau, etc. Zhang Mao, convener of the Joint Meeting and director-general of the SAIC, hosted and addressed the session. Meanwhile, the session deliberated and approved of the Work Rules for Inter-Ministerial Joint Meeting for Network Market Supervision and the Special Action Plan for 2017 Network Market Supervision, in addition to having further discussion on how to improve the work mechanism and bring into play the Joint Meeting’s functions.
