SAIC released a notice to promote the implementation of the Planning on Market Supervision during the 13th Five-Year Plan Period

Recently, SAIC released a notice to carry out the Planning of the State Council on Market Supervision during the 13th Five-Year Plan Period (“the Planning”), requiring the authorities of industry, commerce and market supervision in different regions to turn the targets and tasks identified in the Planning into their local specific work and unify the relevant implementation work. 

The notice emphasized that strengthened market supervision should be taken as an important guarantee to improve local environment of economic development and promote the local prosperous economic development, and the targets and tasks identified in the Planning should be included into the work arrangement by the governments for implementation. The implementation follow-up evaluation and performance examination mechanisms directed at the implementation of the Planning should be established. Meanwhile, according to the Letter of the General Office of the State Council on Agreeing to Establish an Inter-Ministerial Joint Conference System, the local governments were notified to establish the implementation coordination system of the Planning and push forward the implementation of the Planning.
