Hangzhou customs joined hands with Netease Group to promote cross-border IPR protection for e-commerce enterprises
Hangzhou customs and Netease Group signed a MOU on IPR cooperation
On December 15, Hangzhou customs signed a MOU on IPR cooperation with 7 cross-border e-commerce enterprises, including Netease Group. At the signing ceremony, Hangzhou customs and Netease Group jointly indicated that both sides would carry out cooperation in curbing the IPR risks for cross-border e-commerce enterprises, assisting the investigation in customs law enforcement, cross-agency coordination and training, in a joint effort to promote the standard, orderly and sustained development of cross-border e-commerce industry in China.
As introduced, in addition to the MOU, Hangzhou customs will also conduct cooperation with enterprises including Netease on research, publicity and training. Both sides will team up to build an IPR research group in charge of the study and discussion about cross-border IPR hotspot or difficult issues, improve the IPR protection capability of both sides, conduct publicity and transformation of cooperation achievements towards the general public and import and export enterprises, create good environment for IPR protection and promote the raising of public awareness in IPR protection.
