The Office of National Leading Group on Fight against IPR Infringement and Counterfeiting organized multiple agencies to carry out cross-border law enforcement coordination

On July 10-19, Chai Haitao, Deputy Head of the Office of National Leading Group on Fight against IPR Infringement and Counterfeiting led a delegation to Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan for law enforcement coordination related to crackdown on IPR infringement and counterfeiting. The delegation met with government agencies and social organizations of three countries, including Russian Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection, Belarusian Chamber of Commerce, Ministry of the National Economy and Ministry of Justice of Kazakhstan and authorities of customs and quality inspection. They had an exchange of views on the development of “Qingfeng” Action, establishment of cross-border law enforcement coordination and cooperation mechanism and China’s initiative of “quality imports and quality exports” in foreign trade. Yang Zongren, Director-General of Politics and Law Department under General Administration of Customs, Ma Xuebing, Deputy Director-General of Law Enforcement Department of AQSIQ and the officials from Department of Europe and Asia under MOFCOM also took part in this event.
