CNIPA Deputy Head met the delegation of China International Development Cooperation Agency

On June 5, Gan Shaoning, Deputy Head of National Intellectual Property Administration of China (CNIPA) met the delegation of China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) led by its Deputy Head Zhang Maoyu, to discuss how to strengthen the IPR international cooperation and external assistance in a new era. Gan expressed gratitude to CIDCA for its big support and helpful suggestions to IPR international cooperation and external assistance.

Gan indicated that they would like to further strengthen the communication and coordination with CIDCA, leverage the professional advantages in the IPR and actively support and take part in the national external assistance to better serve the national diplomacy as a whole.

Zhang indicated that our national external assistance work started early with substantive cooperation items and achieved much results, thus playing an important role in serving the overall national reform and opening-up and building a community with a shared future for mankind. Zhang welcomed more involvement of CNIPA in the national external assistance so as to jointly promote the development of external assistance in the IPR field.

At the meeting, both sides exchange views on the feasibility of further expanding the external assistance programs in the IPR field.
