Dali police of Yunnan crack down IPR infringement and counterfeiting in the tourist market

It was learned from the Public Security Bureau of Dali Prefecture that, in order to offer a safe, comfortable and harmonious environment for travelers, the Dali police launches special crackdown on customer solicitors and forced transaction, among others. Over the past two years, 13 criminal or fraud gangs of drug or liquor solicitors and ticket reselling were cracked and over 100 suspects of illegal solicitors were punished.

Also, the Public Security Bureau of Dali Prefecture carries out the special rectification action against illegal customer solicitation. In assisting other government departments, 20 tour guides and 20 travelling agencies were investigated and handled and 17 local stores for forced shopping were closed down.

Considering the problem of travelers getting lost at Cangshan Mountain, the Dali police set up a police office at Cangshan scenic spot to offer rescue service. Since the establishment of such office, 361 persons have been helped in 98 times of rescue.

Since this year, the police of Dali Prefecture has received 2,366 reports from tourists, handled 93 cases about public security related to tourism, among which 72 have been cracked, and settled 883 tourist disputes.
