SMBQTS Deputy Head attended the National Seminar on Law Enforcement and Anti-Counterfeiting in E-commerce
Recently, the Seminar on Law Enforcement and Anti-Counterfeiting in E-commerce was held by Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) in Shanghai. Chen Xiaojun, Deputy Head of Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision (SMBQTS) attended the meeting. With a focus on the existing bottleneck and difficulties concerning early discovery, traceability investigation and co-governance of product quality in e-commerce, various issues have been discussed, including the legal rights and obligations related to product quality of players in the e-commerce production and sales chain and the “self-governance” and “governance by others” of e-commerce product quality. Chen Xiaojun introduced with emphasis the general work of Shanghai on e-commerce law enforcement and anti-counterfeiting in terms of quality supervision.
At the meeting, the national work about law enforcement and anti-counterfeiting in e-commerce, the big-data regulation of product quality and the set-up of sub-center for e-commerce law enforcement and anti-counterfeiting were updated and experts presented the legislative progress and legal research in e-commerce. Discussion and communication were conducted regarding the Opinions on Evidence Applicability about Administrative Punishment of Product Quality in E-commerce (draft) and the revision and recommendation were also proposed. Participants also had extensive and in-depth discussion about quality supervision and administrative law enforcement of e-commerce products, the problem with law absence in the practical supervision and law enforcement as well as the legal solution.
