Jiangsu: Yangzhou Administration for Industry and Commerce closed the first case regarding the new Anti-Unfair Competition Law
On February 1, Yangzhou Administration for Industry and Commerce issued a letter of punishment decision to conduct administrative punishment over the unfair competition act of a commercial bank in the city of Yangzhou, with a fine of 100,000 yuan. This is the first penalty ticket written out by Jiangsu Province since the implementation of new Anti-Unfair Competition Law starting from January 1 this year.
In the next step, the administrations for industry, commerce and market supervisions in Yangzhou will carry out the implementation of new Anti-Unfair Competition Law as an important work at present and in the future by focusing on curbing the acts of confusion, online unfair competition, commercial bribery and misleading advertising, making meticulous planning and adopting innovative measures to handle a batch of unfair competition cases and protect a fair market environment.
