China’s invention patents remain high on the annual growth rate

According to the latest research report, despite slowdown in patent activity growth in China recently, China still keeps at a high level of 22.6% in its average annual growth rate of invention patents over the past decade. 

China’s volume of new invention patents increased from 252,000 in 2007 to 1.82 millionin 2016. In comparison, the patent growth rate in other countries tended to be stable from 2007 to 2016, at an average annual rate of only 0.3%. Furthermore, the volume of new invention patents in China accounted for 68.1% of the world’s total in 2016, tripledfrom 23.3% in 2007. 

It also can be seen from the report that the businesses, universities, government agencies and research institutions worldwide are unremittingly providing new solutions to those major issues or matters faced by the human.
