Deputy Head of CNIPA met the delegation of WIPO led by Assistant Director-General

On August 14, Gan Shaoning, Deputy Head of National Intellectual Property Administration of China (CNIPA) met the delegation of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) led by Assistant Director General Prasad Naresh in Beijing.

Gan updated the visiting delegation the reorganized CNIPA and the main progress made by China on IP work. He indicated that WIPO is one of the most important partners for CNIPA. For many years, both sides have established close partnership and deepened the cooperation in the fields of PCT system, Madrid system, information technology and human resources. In the future, it is hoped to continuously enhance the cooperation between CNIPA and WIPO in various aspects.

Prasad Naresh highly affirmed the achievements made by China in IP field. He said WIPO will continue to consolidate the cooperation with China and give China the supports in terms of laws, technology and human resources.
