Heads of states of China and Finland witnessed the signing of IPR cooperation document
Recently, witnessed by Chinese President Xi Jinping and Finnish President Sauli Niinisto, the Supplementary Agreement to the MoU of National Intellectual Property of China (CNIPA) and Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH)was officially signed in Beijing.
Shen Changyu, Head of the CNIPA and Anne-Mari Virolainen, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development of Finland, signed on the documents on behalf of two agencies. The signing of this agreement marks a new step taken by China and Finland in the course of IPR cooperation. The CNIPA has been keeping good cooperative relations with the PRH. In recent years, both sides have carried out much practical cooperation in the fields of legal policies, PPH and mutual exchange of examiners. The signing of this supplementary agreement identified the direction of cooperation between the two agencies in the trademark and patent fields, thus laying a solid foundation for the further cooperation between both sides.
