PRH-CNIPA IP Symposium held in Beijing
On October 17, PRH-CNIPA IP Symposium was held in Beijing. Shen Changyu, Director of National Intellectual Property Administration of China (CNIPA) and Antti Riivari, Director General of Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) attended the symposium and delivered remarks.
Shen said that it is hoped to further deepen the mutual understanding of both sides about each other’s IPR systems, in particular about the patent and trademark application registration procedure so as to better serve the IPR application, deployment and protection of industries and promote the better cooperation between PRH and CNIPA.
Riivali indicated that in the face of various global challenges, it is of significance to strengthen IPR protection. Finland is willing to work with China on building consensus, enhancing cooperation and providing better and more convenient service for the IP users in both countries.
Zhang Mao, Deputy Head of CNIPA also attended the symposium.
At the symposium, the representatives from PRH and Finnish enterprises gave presentations respectively concerning the IPR system in Finland and their practice and experience, and answered the questions from other participants.
