Vice Minister of SAIC Met with Director General of DKPTO
On April 4th, Liu Junchen, Vice Minister of State Administration for Industry & Commerce (SAIC), met with Jesper Kongstad, Director General of Danish Patent and Trademark Office (DKPTO) in Beijing. Liu expressed his expectation that the two sides could continue deepening bilateral exchange mechanism, innovating cooperation approach, and building a sounder IPR protection environment.
Mr. Jesper Kongstad expressed his appreciation for achievements made by SAIC in respect of trademark. And he said that database sharing between SAIC and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) has positive meaning, and users in European Union including Denmark admitted that they had received fair treatment. He hoped to strengthen cooperation with Chinese side in IPR utilization and law enforcement.
