The First Proposal by China of New International Standards for Intellectual Property Right Management Got Approval from ISO

Recently, new international standards for intellectual property right management first proposed by China, the Innovative Management-Guidance for Intellectual Property Right Management, was approved by International Organization for Standardization/Innovation Management Standardization Technical Committee (or “ISO/TC279” for short). The approval of the project marks the official launch of the new international standards for intellectual property management based on innovative management throughout the whole process. It also marks the significant milestone of China’s first participation in the formulation of international standards for intellectual property in history and the breakthrough made by International Organization for Standardization to include intellectual property management concept into the international standardized system of modern innovative management.
